In most cases, a certified classic translation is sufficient and the signature of the sworn translator does not need to be legalised.

However, if your translation is to be used abroad, you may need the authentication/legalization of the signature of our sworn translator.

The authentication of signature is at the single rate of €60 including VAT, regardless of the number of documents (if the language pair is unique).

If your ordered the certified translation of your document into 2 different languages, your documents will be processed by 2 sworn translators: you will then have to order twice the authentication of signature .


Please note that there is an exception for certified translations of French-English-German languages: our certified translator for English and French is also certified for German.

Please note that, due to the sanitary crisis we are living, it has become compulsory for our sworn translators to make an appointment to have their signature authenticated/legalized at the city hall or at the notary's office. As a result, the delivery time of the legalized/notarized certified translation can be extended by one or more working days.
