Translation of an apostille by a Court-Certified translator. An apostille is a document attached to the back of your original document (official template set out in the Hague Convention) that certifies the authenticity of the signature on the original document.

Apostilles accompany official documents and you can also get them translated while having your official document translated. By having your official documents translated by a sworn translator, the documents, as well as their apostilles can be used in France or abroad.

PLEASE NOTE: The product labelled "Apostille" only includes the certified translation of an Apostille attached to your document and not the legalisation proceedings leading to the issuance of an Apostille.

If you need to have your original documents apostilled in advance, a translation agency cannot do this for you. If your documents have been issued in France, please contact the Court of Appeal (Cour d’Appel) for all your Apostille needs. If your documents have been issued in another country, please contact the appropriate legalisation department in the issuing country.

Our translations are recognised and accepted by foreign administrations. You will receive a professional translation, produced by one of our sworn translators:

  • certified by the Cour d'Appel (Court of Appeal) in France, for translations into French, English, Italian and Dutch
  • certified by the Landgericht (State Court) in Germany for translations into German
  • certified by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for translations into Spanish.

Our work always includes the following services:

  • Layout (similar to the original, as far as possible)
  • Translation in accordance with legal standards
  • Printing and certification of your document
  • You will receive the translation by e-mail (PDF)

Paper copy optional.

Certified translations include a certification statement, which generally contains:

  • the name, seal and signature of the sworn translator
  • the statement that the translation is a true and accurate translation (phrasing may differ)
  • the name of the court which accredited the sworn translator
  • a unique identifying number
  • the date of translation

If the original documents need to be stamped for your administrative procedures, please let us know and send us the original documents by post.
