Are you a student, business owner, or recent graduate? Are you planning on studying abroad?

In the European Credit System, 60 credits represents one year of study.

Also, in order for a student to get a Bachelor’s Degree, they will be required to pass 180 credits in 6 semesters.

In order for a student to get a Master’s Degree, they will be required to pass 120 credits in 4 semesters after their Bachelor’s Degree.

In order to get a PhD, which will open so many doors, you will have to pass 420 credits.

4. Getting your qualifications recognised - is it a plausible option for students who are considering studying abroad? For example, Erasmus programs?

In terms of the Erasmus Program, having your qualifications recognised is only an option if the exchange agreements have been signed by both partner universities. Thanks to the European Credit Transfer System, that was originally put in place to facilitate academic recognition and to allow French students, as well as others, to continue their studies freely, in any European country.
